BCAM holds a series of training courses on advanced aspects of applied and computational mathematics. They are mainly aimed at training master and doctoral students:
1. BCAM & UPV/EHU Courses are recognized by the University of the Basque Country within the Master on Mathematical Modelling, Statistics and Computing Research, but anyone else is welcome to participate.
2. BCAM Courses (others) for postgraduate students and researchers.
3. BCAM Severo Ochoa Course program in Pure Mathematics, aimed at complementing the pure mathematics formation provided at the Master on Modelling and Research in Mathematics, Statistics and Computing, and to serve the needs of the students of our doctoral school.

ORGANIZATION
The following people are in charge of the courses program. Please contact them for any course suggestion.
• The Scientific Program of BCAM Courses in Applied Mathematics is coordinated by J. Fernández de Bobadilla.
• The Scientific Program of BCAM Severo Ochoa Course Program in Pure Mathematics is coordinated by the following Committee:
- J. Ignacio Cogolludo (Zaragoza, head of the inter-university Ph.D. program).
- C. Gorría (UPV/EHU, head of the inter-university Ph.D. program).
- L. Roncal (BCAM).
- L. Vega (UPV/EHU-BCAM).
- I. Kazachkov (UPV/EHU).
- J. Fernáńdez de Bobadilla (BCAM).


duration

BCAM & UPV/EHU Courses are 10-hours courses, organized in five sessions from Monday to Friday between 9:00 and 11:00.
BCAM Courses have a more flexible structure, according to the lecturer and audience.
BCAM Severo Ochoa Course Program in Pure Mathematics comprises several courses per year, aiming to cover a balanced thematically spectrum within pure mathematics and helping our students to build a solid theoretical core. The format and schedule of the courses is not necessarily fixed: they can range from a semester weekly meeting courses to intensive courses or even clusters of courses forming a mini-school.

Please, note that English is the official language at BCAM and all the courses will be taught in English.

The courses take place at BCAM headquarters: Alameda de Mazarredo 14, 48009 Bilbao - Basque Country - Spain. Efforts are currently be taken in transmitting courses in streaming to reach wider audiences. Some course may take a purely on-line format.

Attendance at the courses is free, but the inscription is mandatory. Please, check the requirements of each specific course in the available offer.
