PhD student - (Predoc EJ-GV 2014)

Linear and Non-Linear Waves

Mazarredo, 14. 48009 Bilbao Basque Country - Spain

I got my bachelor's degree in June of 2013 at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) where most of the courses I took were focused on mathematical analysis.

In the beginning of summer 2013, I was granted with a research scholarship by the University of the Basque Country and studied 'Distribution and Fourier theory' under the supervision of prof. Luis Vega at BCAM, Bilbao.

During the summer of 2013, I was also granted with a scholarship by the Basque Government to complete my studies abroad, so I did my master at the University of Copenhagen (Denmark) where my major was pure mathematics. I took 'Probability Theory', 'Advanced functional Analysis' and 'Differential operators' as main courses and then worked on my master thesis, 'Linear and semi-linear wave-equation', under the supervision of Jan Philip Solovej. The main subject of the thesis was the study of local and global existence of the solution. I graduated in September 2014.

Currently I am a PhD student under the supervision of prof. Luis Vega. My research line is 'Fluid Mechanics' and I study harmonic analysis and PDE's within this field.
