CFD Computational Technology

Mazarredo, 14. 48009 Bilbao Basque Country - Spain

I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at BCAM in the CFD Computational Technology group since 2016. My research interests are in the area of computational fluid dynamics and numerical methods to solve partial differential equations in a high performance computing environment. In particular I am interested in the Navier-Stokes equations for compressible and incompressible flow, stabilisation methods, two-phase flow, and floating body motion.

I am currently working in a project for marine energy generation together with a company in the Basque Country. Related to this project I am interested on the variable density incompressible Navier-Stokes equations for the simulation of two-phase flow with the presence of floating devices. On the other hand I am interested in compressible flow problems and working in a project for engine turbine simulations.

I have a BSc in Mathematics and I completed my Ph.D. in computational fluid dynamics at Barcelona Supercomputing Center and Polytechnic University of Catalonia in 2016. During my Ph.D. I worked on the development and implementation of numerical and stabilisation methods and local preconditioning for the simulation of compressible flow in parallel architectures.
