I received my BS degree in Mathematics from the Autonomous University of Barcelona in 2013. Then, I worked as software developer while studying the MSc of Computational Engineering and Intelligent Systems at the University of the Basque Country (2015), where I discussed a thesis entitled "Feature Selection Using Block-Based LBP for Face Recognition" and obtained the prize for the best academic records. In 2016 I was granted a Global Training scholarship by the Basque Government in order to research on Computer Vision at Pattern Recognition and Applications Lab (PRALab), University of Cagliari (Italy). Currently, I am a visiting PhD Student at BCAM under the supervision of Dr Jose Antonio Lozano, working on Statistical Machine Learning within the area of Data Science.
