Postdoc Fellow at BCAM. César Hernández received the Ph.D. degree in Informatics and the M.S. degree in Industrial Computing from the University of Almeria, Spain, in October 2017 and July 2013, respectively. He also received a M.S. degree in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Granada, Spain in Spain 2010. He received the bachelor’s degree of Electronic Engineer from the Technological Institute of Hermosillo in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico in 2008. From 2010 to 2011 he worked as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Industrial Engineering at the Technological Institute of Sonora in Empalme, Sonora, Mexico. In 2012, he joined as a Predoctoral Fellow the Automatics, Robotics and Mechatronics Research Group, University of Almeria, Spain. In 2018 he joined the Technological Automotive Centre of Galicia (CTAG) as Data Scientist where he was involved in projects related to the automotive sector and Industry 4.0, as well as research projects. His research interest include Machine Learning and Deep Learning, Microgrids/Smartgrids, Mathematical Modelling, Model Predictive Control, PID Control, Renewable Energies, Automotive Engineering, Optimization, Big Data, and Data Mining. He currently works in topics related with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, where he develops data processing techniques for energy management. He is currently a member of the Spanish Committee of Automatic (CEA).
