CFD Modelling and Simulation

Mazarredo, 14. 48009 Bilbao Basque Country - Spain

Short Bio: I finished my Chemical Engineering undergraduate studies in Basque Country University (2011), and graduated in MSc Process Systems Engineering the same year in a double degree program at Cranfield University (UK). During my MSc I became very interested in mathematical problems in industry and I did a second MSc in "Research in Mathematics" at Basque Country University while doing an internship in BCAM. When I concluded my MSc, I started the PhD in the field of CFD.

I have been granted by the Basque Government to do my PhD in the project: "Aeroacoustic Simulation of Turbomachienry" (PRE_2013_1_1216). I am also a member of two research projects "Development of an efficient, flexible and innovative CFD Computational Platform to optimally simulate and design industrial products and processes" (BFA/DFB - 6/12/TK/2012/00020) funded by the Department of Economic Promotion of the Biscay Foral Council, through the funding plan for Research Projects in Excellence Centres 2012, and "Reliable computational methods for infinite dimensional problems" (BFA/MTM2011-24766) funded by the MICINN.

Research Interest: My research interests involve general CFD methods, mainly oriented for wave propagation.
