I obtained my B.Sc and M.Sc degrees in Aerospace Engineering in 2010 and 2012 respectively. My research interests are in the field of space engineering including orbital mechanics, attitude control, spacecraft dynamics, interplanetary trajectories and optimal control. I joined BCAM (Basque Center for Applied Mathematics) in Data Science research line as a Ph.D student (LaCaixa Fellow) in 2016. In my Ph.D program at BCAM, I am working on the optimization algorithms specifically for spacecraft trajectory design under the supervision of Prof. Jose Antonio Lozano in Machine Learning group. In my researches, I focus on the application of heuristics, specifically the evolutionary techniques based on distribution algorithms in the development of spacecraft guidance law for various space missions.
