Prof. Carlos Parés is the Director of the group "Partial Differential Equations and Numerical Analysis" at the University of Malaga, and External Scientific Member at Computational Mathematics - Modelling and Simulations research line at BCAM. His research is mainly focused in Numerical Analysis and PDEs, particularly in the numerical resolution of non-preservative hyperbolic systems and its applications so as to simulate geophysical flows.
