Master Degrees in Industrial Engineering (2007, http://www.ingeniaritza-bilbao.ehu.es/p224-home/es/), and in Sustainable Energy Engineering (2011, http://www.ingenieriaenergeticasostenible.ehu.es/p111-1999/es). Since 2009 Lecturer and Researcher at University of the Basque Country, UPV/EHU (www.ehu.es), department of Fluid Mechanics and Nuclear Engineering. Currently doing my PhD at UPV/EHU. The aim of the thesis is to build and plug into the BCAM-BLATOGAR CFD platform a robust, time effective and accurate optimization system for turbomachinery. The system will use essentially Evolutionary Algorithms for the optimization process and a Principle Orthogonal Decomposition (POD) based model reduction to define the surface of optimization. As Research Project, I am participating in the research project titled "Development of an efficient, flexible and innovative CFD Computational Platform to optimally simulate and design industrial products and processes" (BFA/DFB - 6/12/TK/2012/00020), funded by the Department of Economic Promotion of the Biscay Foral Council, through the funding plan for Research Projects in Excellence Centres 2012.
