This project was done in collaboration with J.M. Asua, POLYMAT, University of the Basque Country, Spain.
We developed a novel, computationally feasible, dynamic model for prediction of equilibrium morphologies as well as the process of developing morphologies based on the experimental observations. Using a two-phase model we can reproduce several morphologies observed experimentally, such as core-shell (Video 1), hemispheres (Video 2), inverted core-shell (Video 3) and sandwich morphology (Video 4).
