Numerical simulation of the Peregrine system with different time-stepping methods and using or not artificial dissipation as stabilization.

Optimization of the object's shape to maximise the height and steepness of the wave using Ipopt. No energy criterion is used here and the optimal shape is therefore the biggest and steepest one allowed in the set of admissible shapes.

Same optimization of the object's shape as in the previous simulation, but using Dolfin-Adjoint and a truncated Newton algorithm. The convergence is slower but tends to the same result.
