DESCRIPTION

BCAM, the Basque Center for Applied Mathematics, holds a series of training courses on advances aspects of applied and computational mathematics. They are addressed mainly to graduate students and postdoctoral researchers.

- The BCAM & UPV/EHU Courses are recognized by the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), both as a university-specific degree, and as part of the two Masters in Mathematics offers by the UPV/EHU. Each course carries a load of 1 ECTS credit.

- BCAM Courses are not organized in collaboration with other University or Research center, but BCAM will issue a certificate of attendance.

DURATION

BCAM & UPV COURSES 2011/2012 - Advanced Aspects in Applied Mathematics. The courses start in November 2011 and finish in June 2012. Each of the 10 courses will be taught in one week, and has duration of 10 hours.

BCAM Courses have a more flexible structure, according to the lecturer and audience.

LANGUAGE

The courses will be taught in English.

PLACE

The courses are held at BCAM Headquarters, at Mazarredo 14, 48009 Bilbao - Basque Country - Spain.

INSCRIPTION

Attendance to the courses is free (although those asking for the UPV/EHU recognition have to pay the standard fees to the Univerisity), but inscription is encouraged.
