DESCRIPTION
BCAM, the Basque Center for Applied Mathematics, will hold a series of training courses on advances aspects of applied and computational mathematics. They are addressed mainly to graduate students and Post Doctoral researchers.
DURATION
BCAM COURSES 2009/2010 - Applied and Computational Mathematics : The courses start in October 2009 and finish in June 2010. Each of the 13 courses will be taught in one week, and has duration of 10 hours.
BCAM COURSES 2010/2011 - Advanced Aspects in Applied Mathematics : The courses start in January 2011 and finish in July 2011. Each of the 13 courses will be taught in one week, and has duration of 10 hours.
LANGUAGE
The courses will be taught in English.
PLACE
The courses will be held at BCAM Headquarters, at the Bizkaia Technology Park, Building No. 500 (Derio, Spain).
In addition, the course of Prof. Jean-Bernard Bru From October 6 to November 30 will be held at the University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU.
INSCRIPTION
BCAM provides a limited number of grants for covering the inscription (we will not provide funding for travel, accomodation or other expenses) to highly qualified (GPA > 2) students.

The deadline for receiving applications is July 24th.
