BCAM, in the framework of the MATH4SPORTS project, receives the visit of Cyrill Fouquart, PhD student and member of LOSC Lille

This week, BCAM, the Basque Center for Applied Mathematics was received the visit of Cyrill Fouquart, PhD student and member of the Lille Olympique Sporting Club team. Fouquart is currently starting his thesis in collaboration with the Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France.

Fouquart's visit to BCAM is part of the Math4Sports project, which seeks to transfer applied mathematics as a driving technology to the sports industry, with a high potential for technology transfer to start-ups, professional clubs, researchers and other agents of the innovative environment of Bizkaia.

During his stay at BCAM, Fouquart has had the opportunity to know BCAM and the way of working of this leading research center in the field of applied mathematics. He also had the opportunity to visit Lezama, where he was received by representatives of the Athletic Club, who showed him the facilities and shared with him their working approach.

The collaboration between BCAM, LOSC Lille and the Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France promises to open new doors for the future, harnessing the potential of mathematics to optimize performance and strategy in various sports disciplines.
