Objective:

The main objective of 5G4BRIS3 is therefore to establish the basis of a research strategy and methodology (with a medium and long term vision) in a set of driving technologies of the future 5G networks, which are expected to have a direct impact on key areas of Basque RIS3. The primary objective of 5G4BRIS3 is, through an architecture with solid planning and structures, to acquire the set of resources, tools and skills that will enable the individual and collective capabilities of the centres and universities involved in the consortium to be raised in the key 5G technologies identified above. A strategy that considers the mutualisation of efforts, resources and knowledge of the Basque academic scientific fabric as a fundamental tool. In this sense, the vocation of the grouping with 5G4BRIS3 is to address strategic areas in the evolution of next-generation mobile communications networks (5G and beyond) with the aim of placing itself in a privileged position at national and international level, always approaching it from a Basque RIS3 perspective where different sectors promise to revolutionise all areas of society, impacting all areas of society, impacting on the development of the next generation of mobile communications networks (5G and beyond).
