Duration: 01/03/2022 - 31/12/2023
BCAM budget: 93,264.69€
Funding agency: Basque Government (ELKARTEK)
Type: Regional Project
Status: Ongoing Project

Objective:

The general objective of the CHARGER+ project is to generate the necessary knowledge to define a new generation of electric vehicle (EV) charging points, so that the related Basque companies (electricity companies, charging post installation companies and charger manufacturers) will be in an advantageous position when, during the mass deployment of charging points, new functionalities adapted to the decentralised and minimum impact concept of Smart Grids are assessed. Upon completion, the project will have generated autonomous and collaborative decision algorithms, electric vehicle battery and distribution grid models, modelling of emissions generated by power electronics, a communications demonstrator and a methodology for integrating environmental criteria in low LRT developments. This project will improve the scientific-technological and commercial positioning of the Basque Science and Technology Network and Basque companies in the electro-mobility ecosystem and in particular in the area of charging points.
