Objective:The general objective of FUTURE GRIDS 2020 is to carry out research into strategic lines for electricity grids and thus help Basque companies in the field of electrical energy to complete their technological offer in the medium to long term through R&D&I. The aim is to enrich the Basque Country's technological offer in the Smart Grids environment, providing our industrial fabric with a global offer in some technologies in which they are not yet present, some of which are currently dominated by a few multinationals. This will provide a better position for the products and services offered from the Basque Country to other markets, as they will have the appropriate tools to face internal and external threats that could increase costs and even destroy the business itself.
