We are pleased to announce the 2nd Bilbao Workshop on Fluid Dynamics, which will take place at the Basque Center for Applied Mathematics (BCAM) from November 3rd to November 5th, 2025. This workshop aims to bring together a diverse and vibrant community of researchers working in the broad field of fluid dynamics.
By creating a focused yet informal setting, we hope to encourage stimulating discussions, foster new collaborations, and provide a platform for sharing recent advances and open challenges in the subject. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
i. Analytical and numerical approaches to incompressible and compressible flows
ii. Boundary layer theory and singular limits
iii. Control Problems arising related to Fluid Dynamics
iv. Free boundary problems and fluid–structure interaction
v. Geophysical and atmospheric fluid dynamics
vi. Turbulence, stability, and long-time behavior of solutions
The workshop will feature invited talks and ample time for informal interactions, making it an ideal forum for both established researchers and early-career scientists. We warmly invite you to join us in Bilbao, a dynamic city known for its cultural richness and scientific vitality, for three days of engaging science and meaningful exchange of knowledge.
