Mateus Costa de Sousa // Harmonic Analysis and inverse problems line
I am a BCAM Researcher funded by a Ramón y Cajal fellowship. I am broadly interested in mathematical analysis and its connections to other fields, such as partial differential equations and the theory of special functions. I am heavily inclined to work on problems which can be explained with relatively simple tools, but demand intricate ideas to be solved.
Before moving to Bilbao, I held postdoctoral positions at the Universidad de Buenos Aires and the LMU Munich. I received my Ph.D. in December, 2017, at IMPA, under the supervision of Emanuel Carneiro.
