Luccas Campos - Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG)
Tenured Assistant Professor (Professor Adjunto) at the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG) in Brazil and currently a CNPq Research Productivity Fellow.
Previous research experience in the form of Summer Postdoctoral Fellowships in Instituto de Matemática Pura e Aplicada (IMPA), of a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at Universidade Estadual de Campinas (Unicamp), and of Visiting Scholar appointments in Missouri S&T, IST Lisboa and BCAM.
He completed his Ph.D at UFMG in 2019, which also involved a one-year Doctoral Stay at Florida International University (FIU). His thesis, entitled "Long-time behavior of solutions to nonlinear Schrödinger-type equations", was granted the "Best Ph.D. Thesis Award" in the UFMG Math Department.
Luccas' research interests lie in Partial Differential Equations, with emphasis on behavior of Dispersive Equations and their relation with Harmonic Analysis. In particular, asymptotic behavior of nonlinear Dispersive PDEs, formation of singularities, scattering and threshold solutions.
