There are 10 available grants for the ESGI 188 participants. You can download the ESGI 188 Grants Policy here. The budget allocated for grants in the ESGI 188 is the following:
- 5 grants for international researchers of 600€ net each to cover travel and accommodation costs.
- 5 grants for national researchers of 450€ net each to cover travel and accommodation costs.
Note that local researchers will not be eligible for these grants.
Applicants interested in the scholarship have to provide (a CV, an interest letter and two references).
Grant award and procedure
In principle (but not strictly, since additional factors can be considered), all the grants will be assigned until the total budget is spent. If there are more grants requested than available funding, the Scientific Committee will select the beneficiaries of the grants based on the motivation statement of their registration form.
The Scientific Committee of the ESGI 150 is formed by:
- Fernando García
- Felipe Ponce
- Aritz Pérez
- Rubén Peña
Those interested in the scholarship will be evaluated from 0 to 10, with 5 being the score for those who had doubts in assigning them the scholarship, from there downwards those who would not be awarded the scholarship and from 5 upwards those who did deserve it. Once the list of grant awardees is clear, BCAM will inform the grantees via email accordingly. It is the responsibility of each beneficiary to confirm the acceptance of the grant and attend the ESGI 188.
Non-attendance at the event must be duly justified. In case of rejection of the grant, BCAM will appoint a substitute (if any).
