Objective:

The general objective of the project is to advance research on the limitations of traffic analysis software systems based on common computational architectures in order to improve their performance and find valid design options for traffic sensors in high capacity network segments. In particular, this project aims to advance the use of virtualisation schemes on multiprocessor architectures for traffic capture in high-capacity networks (1-10 Gbps).
