BCAM participates in the Pint of Science 2026
- 'Pint of Science' will bring 18 talks to three bars in Bilbao from May 18th to 21st, with free entry.
- Nina O'Neill, postdoctoral fellow at BCAM, will be at the Da Vinci bar in Bilbao on May 18th at 19:00.
BCAM collaborates once again with the Bilbao's edition of the scientific outreach festival 'Pint of Science'. The event, coordinated by BCMaterials, will take place in three bars in the city (Davinci, Kubrick and Hika Ateneo), hosting a total of free 18 talks between May 18 and 21.
The goal of 'Pint of Science' is to introduce audiences of all ages to the scientific and technological research being carried out in their environment, in this case, the province of Bizkaia. It will bring together researchers from some of the most important academic and research centers in our territory: Achucarro, AZTI, BC3, BCAM, BCMaterials, Biofisika Institutua, CICbioGune, Tecnalia and EHU.
As for the talks, 'Pint of Science' covers a range of diverse and current topics: physics, chemistry, environment, technology, computing, artificial intelligence, biomedicine, and biotechnology.
From BCAM, Nina O'Neill, a postdoctoral fellow at Quantum Mechanics research line, will participate in the festival with 'Ventaja cuántica para noveles' at Davinci bar at 19:00 p.m.
These will be the host bars for 'Pint of Science Bilbao 2026':

- Kubrick Bar. (Villarías, 2. Uribitarte Pier).
- Davinci Bilbao. (Arbolantxa, 2. Church of San Vicente).
