APDE seminar@UPV/EHU: Spectral stability of electromagnetic Dirac operators

Abstract

In this talk we study Dirac operators perturbed with Coulomb-type electromagnetic potentials. We establish the total absence of eigenvalues under some smallness assumptions on the potentials and discuss in which cases the whole spectrum remains unchanged. This is done mainly by the method of multipliers, which has been extensively used to study the point spectrum of self-adjoint operators in quantum mechanics.
